Dr. Raquel Kirwin was raised in Jersey City, NJ by parents who immigrated from northwestern Spain. She graduated with honors from Rutgers University with her bachelor´s degree in Mathematics. She earned her Master of Science degree in Biomedical Engineering from the New Jersey Institute of Technology, Newark College of Engineering where she was asked to join the prestigious Tau Beta Pi Engineering Honor Society. After having worked in several dental offices during her college years as a dental assistant, she decided to pursue a career in dentistry and obtained her Doctor of Dental Medicine degree in 2014 from Rutgers School of Dental Medicine.

Community Outreach

At Tierra Este Family Dentistry, all members of our team are advocates for animal rescue and share the idea that education and raising awareness about animal abuse is very effective in decreasing the number of homeless pets. We are active and contributing members of our community and want to express our gratitude to those who adopt a pet from our local rescue organization. We appreciate and share your compassion in caring for those that have been forgotten and abandoned. At Tierra Este Family Dentistry, we believe in second chances and know that rescued life is the best life. We support Law N’ Paws Animal Rescue in El Paso in their mission to rescue and rehabilitate animals that have been victims of animal cruelty. As a practice, we occasionally sponsor medical treatment, training, supplies for rescued animals in order to make them adoptable. We call them our office mascots.
